Our Mission and Philosophy

The Lawrence Business Magazine is the only local magazine dedicated to telling the stories of the people and businesses making a positive impact on Lawrence & Douglas County, advocating for those businesses and people while only accepting advertisers with a stake in the local economy.  We believe that to have a healthy community you must be supported by the businesses and people with a stake in that community. The Lawrence Business Magazine is for those who care about, and/or have a stake in, the long-term success of our diverse business community. Our primary demographic is the greater Lawrence business community, community leaders, business owners, government officials, office personnel/management, and individuals with a vested interest in the future of Lawrence & Douglas County.
