Genstler Eye Center Invests in Laser for Cataract Surgery Patients

The LenSx femtosecond laser brings an elevated level of safety
and accuracy to cataract surgery. Genstler Eye Center has invested
in this cataract laser technology to expand the options available
for its patients. This is the preferred treatment choice for cataract patients with low levels of astigmatism.
The LenSx laser is designed to provide more precision to the refractive cataract process. The laser uses 3-D image guided technology that maps the patient’s eye. The laser then uses a computerguided image to perform precise incisions that would normally be made with a surgical knife.
“I am pleased to provide this technology to our patients,” said Arla Genstler, MD. “This is a great option for individuals with lower amounts of astigmatism who want their best vision without glasses.”
