Cyber Security Summit
The Greater Topeka Partnership and Century Business Technologies – Dynamic Division are hosting a Cyber Security Summit bringing local and national experts in to present on the current state of cyber security in 2019. Learn about the current methods of attack and the pivotal importance of protecting your business from breaches, scams and all forms of cybercrime. The following cyber security experts from government agencies and private companies will lead presentations:
- Geoffrey Jenista, Cyber Security Advisor from the US Department of Homeland Security
- Desiree D. Rohr, Digital Forensics Examiner from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation
- Mark Laliberte, Information Security Threat Analyst from WatchGuard Technologies
- Justin Sharples, Information Security Officer of CoreFirst Bank & Trust
The summit is taking place Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Kansas Bureau of Investigation Forensic Science Center, 2001 SW Washburn Terrace, Washburn University Campus, Topeka, Kansas 66604. There are two identical sessions for attendees to choose from: a morning session from 8:30am to 11:30am and an afternoon session from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. There will also be an optional tour of the KBI Forensic Science Center at 11:45am.
