THE OREAD – recognized as a TOP 50 College Hotel
The Nest at the Oread
The Oread, located on the north edge of the University of Kansas campus,
was recently recognized as a Top 50 College Hotel by CollegeRank.net, a
website devoted to showcasing the best of the best about national campuses
to incoming freshmen and their parents.
The Oread employs approximately 150 community members whose focus is
on making the hotel a home away from home to thousands of travelers each
year. It features the Bird Dog Bar, Five 21 restaurant and the Slice of History
pizzeria, but The Nest on Ninth, its rooftop terrace and bar, makes this hotel
a real destination.
