The Chamber hires Mary McKenzie as Director of Operations
Lawrence, Kan. – Mary McKenzie will join The Chamber’s staff as its Director of Operations. McKenzie will be responsible for the day-to-day internal operations of The Chamber, including financial management, accounting, and human resources. She will provide assistance to Chamber committees and will support President & CEO Bonnie Lowe in an advisory capacity for internal operations.
“I’m so excited to work with the fabulous Chamber staff in the city that I love,” said McKenzie. “While I’ve been involved with local organizations, working for The Chamber is a great way for me to reconnect with the Lawrence business community and I can’t wait to get started. I have always had great respect for The Chamber and the work that they do in our community.”
Before her role at The Chamber, McKenzie worked as the Director of Human Resources at Massman Construction Co. in Overland Park.
